Dim is built privacy-first. Your migraine history stays on your device and your own private iCloud. We never sell it, never show ads, and never share it with anyone. This policy explains exactly what that means.
Who we are
Dim is operated by Arve Tech FZC LLC, the data controller for the limited data described here. Registered address: CWS-2V-226403, 26th Floor, Amber Gem Tower, Sheikh Khalifa Street, Ajman, UAE.
1. What we store, and where
The attacks you log — intensity, side, triggers, notes and timings — are stored on your device. If you turn on backup, they sync through your own private iCloud account, which only you control. Arve Tech has no servers holding your migraine data and cannot see it.
2. Apple Health
If you connect Apple Health, Dim reads your sleep and reads and writes headache entries to give your logs more context. This exchange happens entirely on your device, through Apple's HealthKit. None of it is ever sent to us.
3. Location & weather
If you allow location, Dim uses it on your device to attach local weather and barometric pressure to an attack — common migraine triggers. Your location is not stored on our servers or shared with anyone.
4. Anonymous usage analytics
To fix bugs and understand which features are used, we collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics (via Amplitude) — things like which screens are opened. This never includes your migraine data, health data, name, email, or location. It cannot be used to identify you.
5. What we never do
We never sell your data. We never show ads. We never share your migraine or health data with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party. There is no account to create and no profile of you to build.
6. Deleting your data
You can permanently delete all of your data from inside the app at any time. Deleting it removes it from your device and your iCloud.
7. Children
Dim is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
8. Your rights
Because your migraine data lives on your device, you control it directly — view, export or delete it anytime in the app. For the anonymous analytics we hold, you may request access, correction, deletion, or that we stop processing it; if you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not sell personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of under the CCPA. Email support@arvetechapps.com to exercise any right.
